‘Chopsticks’ book review

Chopsticks by Jessica Anthony

The plot holds so much promise, but the shallow character development detracts the reader from caring about what happens to either protagonist. The most appealing aspect is the unique blending of text messages, pictures, YouTube screen shots, drawings, and fictional primary documents. If developed properly the story could use each of these resources as a rich dialogue of human interactions and consequences. Instead this book only presents a surface look of two teens rebelling.
