I was going to follow my hometown library, but unfortunately their last blog was nearly three weeks ago and it only detailed the amnesty rules for August.  Boring and uninformative since it has no relevance to where I am currently located.  Nor would it be of any interest to anybody who stumbles across this blog.

So in my search for another blog to follow I stumbled across LIS.  It happens to be a blogging site by librarians for librarians.

Another reason I chose to follow this blog was because of today’s posting about Mockingjay.    Now I will admit that I haven’t read any of the books in the Hunger Games Trilogy, but my daughter has and is currently about 3/4 of the way through Mockingjay.  She has even announced that her plan is to read all three again.

Today’s post from LIS describes how a couple of libraries are being affected by the release of Mockingjay.  One library held a sleep-over party.  Cool!

I love these books so much!! I am reading Mockingjay right now!

Because of the recommendations from this class, I’m about 2/3 of the way through “The Hunger Games.” I’m liking it — not on the same level as Harry P. — but then they are so different it would be hard to compare.
